We are a global network of collaborative communities and individuals from all fields of game
development, including programmers and producers, designers and artists, writers, business
people, QA team members, localization experts, and everyone else who participates in the game
development process.

and sustainable careers.
The IGDA Climate SIG, a community of climate-minded game developers housed within an international nonprofit organization. The Climate SIG serves to unlock grassroots climate action, enable climate councils within every major game company, and amplify the UN Environment Programme’s message about youth advocacy, the power of video games, and what games can do to address the climate crisis.
A database collecting design patterns to craft green messages into games and reduce production impact.
The Green Mediography, initially launched at UU with funding from the strategic theme Pathways to Sustainability to create an annotated mediography, i.e. an online repository of ‘green media’ examples used in processes of environmental communication, epistemic eco-practices and climate action/activism, has been integrated into the Horizon Europe and Innovate UK Research and Innovation – funded STRATEGIES project as a resource for European game industries and scholarship.
The LITTERA project of the University of Cagliari aimed to design and develop interactive experiences for students that could aid them in learning literature and poetry. We focused on Giuseppe Ungaretti and Dante Alighieri, creating two different games for learning crafted specifically on their poetry.
The PAC-PAC Horizon project of the University of Cagliari aimed to develop, consolidate, and equip businesses with the technical, technological, and methodological foundations for designing and producing adventure games and interactive fiction set in real-world locations. Its primary goal was to promote Sardinia’s environmental and cultural heritage — including landscapes, archaeological sites, history, architecture, and art — for tourism and cultural purposes. The two games created under the project sought to highlight areas not typically included in traditional tourist itineraries and contributed to spreading tourism-related economic activities across the region, extending their impact beyond seasonal peaks.
A game development studio founded by Sardinians to make games about our beautiful island. Our first project is under development and set to release on PC and consoles.
This game design course is designed to provide excellent training with a multifaceted pathway that can lead students to independently engage with the world of work and the international industry.
The Global Game Jam is an annual event held around the world involving thousands of developers of all nationalities. In January 2025 with Sardinia Game Scene, IGDA Italy and the collaboration of Aurora Coworking we organized a venue for the first time in Sulcis Iglesiente.
The Cagliari Municipal Library System's BlbioGoal! project aimed to build pathways around reading for citizenship outreach and involvement. In this project, I was involved as a disseminator to bring issues related to video games and environmental sustainability to the attention of citizens.
A collective of game developers and creators based in Cagliari, Italy. We made games during Game Jams and in our free time, as a way to creative express ourselves.
The GAMEM (later on MEM in Games) project is an ongoing collaboration between the Library System of Cagliari and the University of Cagliari. The aim of this project is to create a tangible and digital archive of videogames in the Mediateca del Mediterraneo (MEM) multimedial library, in order to build a solid database of digital works that could help researchers, users and citizens in understanding better videogames.
